We make a small number of beds properly, to order, in Britain. That is the whole business.

How we started

We got tired of beds that creak.

Elysian Sleep began because the beds on the high street were built to a price and it showed. Chipboard slats, stapled frames, headboards that wobble by the second winter. We wanted to build the other kind: hardwood frames, sprung bases, upholstery done by hand, and a fabric range wide enough that you do not have to settle.

Made to order

Nothing sits in a warehouse.

We do not hold stock. Your bed is cut, built and upholstered after you order it, in the size and the fabric you chose. That is why it takes two to three weeks, and it is also why you can have a Super King in bouclé without anyone raising an eyebrow.
